Spring at last, what a winter! There are still a few reminders of our long winter, mainly in front of the mill, where the sun never shines, but there are also lots of flowers beginning to bloom.

We have a very full schedule for the Spring. Our guest chefs will include Brigita Simanis, the excellent pastry chef at the "Southern Inn" who will show us how to prepare some lovely dishes for summer. And our good friend the Southern Inn’s Chef/Owner, George Huger is once again going to dazzle us with a Summer Spectacular to close our season in August.

In May Georgie is planning a two day class in Chinese cooking to demonstrate Chinese cooking techniques which will conclude with a 12 dish Chinese banquet.

Don’t forget, later in the year, to save October 16th for our "Apple Butter Festival" featuring Glenn Wilson stirring up his wonderful apple butter, the music of "New Corner Grocery and Blue Grass Band", great food, crafts and an elegant meal featuring the wines of Rockbridge Vineyard.
